CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL EMOTIONAL, COGNITIVE OR PHYSICAL NEEDS PROVIDED WITH 7 OR MORE SESSIONS OF EQUINE THERAPIES OR EQUINE ASSISTED ACTIVITIES. WITH EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY AND EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING, PARTICIPANTS GAINED LIFE SKILLS, COPING SKILLS AND ENHANCED RESILIENCE. THERAPEUTIC RIDING PARTICIPANTS SHOWED PROGRESS IN MOTOR PLANNING, INCREASED LANGUAGE SKILLS, CORE STRENGTH, BALANCE AND MOBILITY AND DECREASED SOCIAL ANXIETY.
