WE PROVIDED TNRM ASSISTANCE TO RI RESIDENTS RELATED TO FREE-ROAMING (FERAL, STRAY, ABANDONED) CATS. IN 2021, PAWSWATCH EXPENDED 122,114 IN VETERINARY SURGERIES AND MEDICINES TO SPAY AND NEUTER 954 CATS, BOTH THROUGH THE COMMUMITY CAT CENTER (CCC) OPERATED BY PAWSWATCH AND THROUGH THE OFFICES OF INDEPENDET VETERINARIANS. THE CCC WAS ABLE TO STERILIZE, VACCINATE AND RETURN TO FIELD 349 FERAL CATS; 530 CATS WERE ADOPTED AND 92 TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER SHELTER; 27 REUNITED WITH THEIR OWNERS AND LIFE SAVING VETERINARY CARE WAS PROVIDED TO OTHER SICK OR INJURED FREE-ROAMING CATS. IN TOTAL, THE CCC PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 1,041 CATS.
