THE ORGANIZATION'S STUDIES FOCUS ON UNDERSTANDING THE BIOLOGY OF THE COTTON-TOP TAMARINS IN THEIR NATIVE HABITAT IN COLUMBIA. THE ORGANIZATION IS INVESTIGATING REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY, INFANT DEVELOPMENT, FEEDING ECOLOGY, HABITAT ASSESSMENT AND POPULATION VIABILITY.THE ORGANIZATION'S EDUCATION PROGRAM FOCUSES ON RURAL AND URBAN COMMUNITY, INFORMAL AND FORMAL SCIENCE PROGRAMS AIMED AT INCREASING AWARENESS TO THE PLIGHT OF THE ENDANGERED COTTON-TOP TAMARIN AND THE NEED TO PRESERVE THE BIODIVERSITY OF COLUMBIA.
