THE ADVANCED MEDIA WORKFLOW ASSOCIATION (AMWA), INC. IS AN INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATION FOR COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS WHO WORK IN THE BROADCAST MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. THE AMWA MAINTAINS THE WEBSITES AMWA.TV AND NMOS.TV TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND PROMOTE SUPPORT FOR THIS IMPORTANT INITIATIVE. MISSION:THE AMWA IS AN OPEN, COMMUNITY-DRIVEN FORUM, ADVANCING BUSINESS-DRIVEN SOLUTIONS FOR NETWORKED MEDIA WORKFLOWS.VISION STATEMENT: THE AMWA IS THE RECOGNIZED AUTHORITY FOCUSED ON THE CREATION OF FULLY AUTOMATED, VIRTUALIZED MEDIA WORKFLOWS.ALL ASSOCIATION POLICIES CAN BE FOUND UNDER POLICY DOCUMENTS ON OUR WEBPAGE.

ON-GOING PROGRAM SERVICES- NMOS STEERING BOARD OVERSEES THE GOVERNANCE OF OUR NMOS ACTIVITIES.- CONTINUED CLOSE COOPERATION WITH AND SUPPORT OF THE JOINT TASK FORCE ON NETWORKED MEDIA (JT-NM)ESPECIALLY WITH RESPECT TO THE JT-NM TESTED PROGRAM.- CONTINUING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE TECHNICAL TRADE ASSOCIATIONS AND STANDARDS BODIES (AES, EBU, OCA, VSF AND SMPTE) IN BOTH DISCUSSIONS AND INTEROPERABILITY WORKSHOPS. - ALONG WITH OUR JT-NM ADMIN PARTNERS, CONTRIBUTION TO THE JT-NM TESTED BOARD TO OVERSEE CURRENT AND FUTURE INDUSTRY COLLABORATION AROUND DEVELOPMENT OF TEST PLANS AND THE ASSESSMENT OF VENDOR-SUBMITTED SELF-TESTING.- IN PARALLEL, WORK WITH THE MARKETING ASSOCIATIONS (PRIMARILY AIMS) TO COLLABORATE WHERE OUR GOALS ALIGN AND WHERE THEIR MESSAGING CAN COMPLEMENT OURS.- WORKING GROUPS, OPERATING UNDER THE NMOS UMBRELLA, HAVE BEEN SET UP AND DISSOLVED AS NECESSARY TO ALLOW THE OVERALL PROJECT TO MOVE FORWARD.- INCREASED COVERAGE OF NMOS TEST SUITE- EXPLORATION OF THE POTENTIAL FOR NON-VENDOR-SPECIFIC CLOUD-BASED MEDIA SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE MEDIA COMPANIES WITH GENUINE BUSINESS AGILITY.TRADESHOWS AND CONFERENCES:- PARTICIPATION IN AIMS' 3 DAY TECH FEST- JT-NM TESTED WEBINAR, HOSTED BY THE EBU- ATTENDANCE AT 3 DAY AIMS OKTOBERFEST
