THE WOMEN'S FUND PROVIDES GRANTS, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, CAPACITY BUILDING, AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL NONPROFITS AND THE WOMEN AND GIRLS OF WESTERN MASS. THE WOMEN'S FUND COMMISSIONS THE LATEST RESEARCH, LEVERAGES OUR CONVENING POWER, AND OUR KNOWLEDGE OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL EFFORTS TOWARD GENDER EQUITY AND EMPOWERMENT TO INVEST IN THE COMMUNITY AND ADVANCE WOMEN AND GIRLS. OUR WORK FOCUSES ON IMPROVING ECONOMIC SECURITY FOR WOMEN AN D GIRLS; GIVING WOMEN AND GIRLS THE CONFIDENCE TO TAKE ON POSITIONS OF POWER AND LEADERSHIP; AND PROMOTING SAFETY AND FREEDOM FROM GENDER-BASED SEXUAL VIOLENCE, TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS, AND POWER DYNAMICS.
