(THE COUNCIL) OPERATES IN 62 COMMUNITIES IN THE METROWEST AND SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS, PROVIDING SERVICE TO YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN FROM AGES SIX THROUGH TWENTY-ONE.DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC DURING 2021, THE COUNCIL WAS IMPACTED IN OUR ABILITY TO DELIVER PROGRAM ACTIVITIES.
THE COUNCIL HAS CAMPING FACILITIES AT CAMP SQUANTO IN PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS, A 650-ACRE CAMPING FACILITY DEEP IN THE WOODS OF MYLES STANDISH STATE FOREST. THE COUNCIL PROVIDES SUMMER CAMP FOR SEVEN WEEKS FOR TROOPS AND INDIVIDUALS. PROGRAMS OFFERED DURING CAMP ARE OUTDOOR SCOUTING ACTIVITIES, SIMPLE SKILLS OF CAMP CRAFT, WOODCRAFT, AQUATICS AND PERSONAL FITNESS. IN 2021, INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED SUMMER CAMP AT CAMP SQUANTO.
