2021 CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS: THE EVENING OF HOPE WAS HELD SEPTEMBER 22, 2021 VIRTUALLY. IN ADDITION, BSCP ALSO HELD A VIRTUAL NEW ENGLAND SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM AND VIRTUAL BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE CAREERS STUDENT CONFERENCE WERE HELD VIRTUALLY DURING THE YEAR.
SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO 6 STUDENTS IN 2021. PORTION OF SCHOLARSHIPS PAID OUT TO 12 STUDENTS IN 2021. THE TOTAL PAID OUT IN SCHOLARSHIPS DURING 2021 WAS $ 46,585. THE COVID-19 RELIEF FUND WAS CREATED AND LAUNCHED JANUARY 2021. COVID RELIEF FUND IS GIVEN TO CERTAIN BSCP MEMBERS UP TO $1,000 EACH. THE TOTAL PAID OUT IN 2021 WAS $77,421.
