THE ARTS FOUNDATION OF CAPE COD PROMOTES AND CELEBRATES ART AND CULTURE THROUGHOUT THE REGION ALL YEAR. AS THE DESIGNATED LOCAL ARTS AGENCY FOR BARNSTABLE COUNTY, ITS MISSION IS TO NURTURE THE CAPE'S ONLY NON-PROFIT ARTS AND CULTURAL UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION WITH THE MANDATE TO SERVE ALL ARTISTS, ALL ART FORMS, AND ALL CULTURAL/HISTORICAL CENTERS AND TO CREATE BRIDGES BETWEEN THE AREA'S CULTURAL ASSETS, THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND ITS VISITORS AND RESIDENTS. THE AFCC SUPPORTS CORE ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN AND LEARNERS OF ALL AGES. THE AFCC PROMOTES LOCAL ARTISTS AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS AND HELPS THEM GROW THEIR ART'S BASED ENTERPRISES THROUGH COLLABORATIVE MARKETING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.
