PROVIDE CANTEEN SUPPORT SERVICES FOR FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL IN BOSTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS AND TO MAINTAIN, PERSERVE AND DISPLAY FIRE MEMORABILIA AT THE BOSTON FIRE MUSEUM ON CONGRESS STREET AS WELL AS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

THE MISSION IS TO OFFER EXPERIENCED REHAB/CANTEEN SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS AND VARIOUS PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES. THIS INCLUDES FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE OFFICERS, AND OTHER EMERGENCY PERSONNEL IN INCIDENTS OF FIRES,PUBLIC EMERGENCIES AND PUBLIC SAFETY INCIDENTS. IN 2021, THE MOBILE CANTEEN/REHAB UNIT PERFORMED 175 RUNS, SPENT 957 HOURS ON THE SCENE AND WAS COMPLETELY RUN BY 2040 VOLUNTEER HOURS.


THE MISSION OF THE MUSEUM IS TO PRESERVE AND DISPLAY FIRE FIGHTING MEMORABILIA FROM THE GREATER BOSTON AREA, EDUCATE AND INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON FIRE SAFETY, MAINTAIN OUR HOME IN THE HISTORIC CONGRESS STREET FIRE STATION , AND TO SUPPORT FIRE SERVICE IN GENERAL. THE MUSEUM IS COMPLETELY RUN BY VOLUNTEERS. THE MUSEUM WAS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC DURING 2021 DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS AND BUILDING RENOVATIONS.
