HEALTH IMPERATIVES' MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF LOW-INCOME, VULNERABLE FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. OUR KEY PROGRAMS ARE: (1) SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE, INCLUDING SCREENING, TESTING, TREATMENT, AND PREVENTIVE SERVICES; (2) NUTRITION ASSISTANCE FOR WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN (WIC); (3) EMERGENCY SHELTER, CRISIS COUNSELING, AND ADVOCACY FOR SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION; (4) HOME VISITING SERVICES FOR YOUNG PARENTS; (5) HEALTH SERVICES FOR COURT-INVOLVED YOUTH AND ADULTS; AND (6) SUPPORTS FOR INCARCERATED PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS AND HEPATITIS C.
