ADULT SERVICES - PROVIDES INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS BUILDING AND PEER MENTORING TO DISABLED INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO GIVE THE INDIVIDUALS SKILLS FOR APPLICATION IN COMMUNITY LIVING AND TO ESTABLISH INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLES FOR THEM, AND MAKE REFERRALS TO APPROPRIATE AGENCIES FOR SUPPORTS AND SERVICES.
PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT SERVICES - TO ACT AS THE PROGRAMMATIC CONDUIT BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, HEALTH PLANS, AND CONSUMERS REQUIRING ATTENDANTS TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL ASSISTANCE WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING AND HOMEMAKING TASKS.
ADRC - THE BOSTON AGING DISABILITY RESOURCE CONSORTIUM IS A COLLABORATION BETWEEN BCIL AND THREE AGING SERVICE ACCESS POINT PROGRAMS AND THE BOSTON AGE STRONG COMMISSION TO PROVIDE COORDINATED SERVICES TO ELDERS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. OUR PRIMARY EFFORT IS TO PROVIDE OPTIONS COUNSELING TO PEOPLE IN OR AT RISK OF GOING IN A NURSING HOME SO THEY CAN LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY. BCIL COORDINATES SERVICES FOR THE ADRC.
