PROGRAMMING CONFERENCES - SPONSORED AND HELD VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS AND OTHER PROGRAMS RELATED TO THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR ACADEMIC COMPUTER USERS. THERE WERE 84 CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS HELD WITH A TOTAL OF 1,800 PARTICIPANTS.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE STATE, MUNICIPAL, AND FOR-PROFIT INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION; AND OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS RELATED TO THE ACACEMIC IT INDUSTRY. EMPLOYEES OF MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN COLLABORATION EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING A VARIETY OF INTEREST GROUPS AND WEB CONFERENCING.
