THE SOCIETY OF THE COMPANIONS OF THE HOLY CROSS IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION, THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO UNITE ITS MEMBERS UNDER A COMMON RULE OF PRAYER, THANKSGIVING, AND SIMPLICITY OF LIFE WITH SPECIAL CONCERN FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PEACE, UNITY OF ALL GOD'S PEOPLE, AND MISSION OF GOD IN THE WORLD. THE SOCIETY ACCOMPLISHES THIS PURPOSE THROUGH ITS MEMBERS AND BY OPERATING A RETREAT AND CONFERENCE CENTER (ADELYNROOD), AND BY PROVIDING CONTINUING PROGRAMS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH THROUGH MEETINGS, CONFERENCES AND RETREATS.
