MATERIALS INCLUDING CELL PHONE ACCESS, PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, CLOTHING, MAGAZINES, AND BIBLES ARE PROVIDED AS NECESSARY ON SHIP OR AT HOSPITALITY CENTERS WHEN OPEN AND AVAILABLE. TRANSPORTATION TO CENTERS WHEN OPEN AND AVAILABLE TO GAIN INTERNET ACCESS, T.V. OR GAME ENTERTAINMENT, LIBRARY AND CHAPEL.

PROGRAM OF SPIRITUAL, SOCIAL, AND EMOTIONAL SERVICES AND PHYSICAL FACILITIES AVAIABLE TO FOREIGN SEAMAN ABOARD SHIP AT PORTS ON ENTRY IN NEW ENGALND USA.SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT PROVIDED THROUGH SHIP VISITATION MISSION IN THE PORT OF BOSTON,MA,PORTLAND,ME & PORTSMOUTH,NH.SHIP VISIT ACTIVITIES ARE COMPOSED OF SEAFARER CONTACTS, CONTACT HOURS, DUE TO COVID 19 VIRUS GROUND TRANSPORTATION TRIPS FOR SEAFARER PASSENGERS WAS SUSPENDED, MATERIALS GIVEN CONTINUED INCLUDING "DITTY BAGS" CONTAINING PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, AND CLOTHING & HATS.ACTVITY MISSION:SHIP VISITS 265SEAFARERS SERVED ON BOARD 1696MATERIALS GIVEN 225BIBLES GIVEN LIMITED SEAFARER VISITORS TO OUR CHELSEA, MA CENTER AND OUR VOLUNTEER HOURS HAVE BEEN LIMITED DUE IN LARGE PART TO INCREASED HOME LAND SECURITY CONCERNS CONNECTED WITH U.S. PORTS OF ENTRY. DUE TO THE NATURE OF WORLD WIDE COVID-19 VIRUS OUTBREAK SEAFARERS COULD NOT LEAVE SHIP AT A PORT OF ENTRY. HOWEVER, THESE LIMITATIONS HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT ALLEVIATED BY GREATER EFFORTS TO DELIVER MINISTRY SERVICES ABOARD SHIP. IN JUNE 2020 WE WERE APPROVED IN MASS AND NEW HAMPSHIRE TO GIVE COVID-19 VIRUS VACCINATIONS TO SEAFARERS ABOARD SHIP. SOON THEREAFTER APPROVAL WAS OBTAINED IN MAINE.
