WE ALSO PROVIDE A COHORT PEER-LEARNING MODEL FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS FOR OUR CURRENT AND ALUMNI INVESTEE ORGANIZATIONS
PARTNER EDUCATION AND SUPPORT: WE PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR OUR DONOR PARTNERS SO THAT THEY CAN BECOME MORE EFFECTIVE CONSULTANTS AND PHILANTHROPISTS. WE ALSO HAVE A COHORT PEER-LEARNING MODEL FOR OUR LEAD PARTNERS WHO WORK ON THE IMPACT TEAMS WITH THE INVESTEE ORGANIZATIONS.
SVP MN HAS STARTED A YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS YOUNG PEOPLE TO SERVE ON A YOUTH LED GRANTMAKING TASKFORCE WHERE THEY DECIDE ON WHAT THE MOST CRITICAL ISSUES FACING YOUTH ARE, WHAT ORGANIZATIONS ARE DOING GOOD WORK TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES AND MAKE DECISIONS ON WHO TO FUND. THESE YOUNG PEOPLE ALSO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO FACILITATE THE NEXT COHORT OF THE TASKFORCE AND JOIN OUR ANNUAL GRANTMAKING COMMITTEE WORK.
