UNIVERSITY GIVING THE SWINERTON FOUNDATION HAS MADE A COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. OUR INVOLVEMENT WITH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS CENTERS AROUND SUPPORT FOR THEIR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AND STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST YOUNG STUDENTS.


ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM- THE SWINERTON FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH SKILLSUSA TO PREPARE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR CAREERS IN TRADE OCCUPATIONS. SKILLSUSA IS A NATIONAL NONPROFIT THAT WORKS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE FUTURE WORKFORCE BY GIVING THEM PERSONAL, WORKPLACE, AND TECHNICAL SKILLS GROUNDED IN ACADEMICS. OUR PARTNERSHIP BEGAN IN 2020, AND WE HAVE SUPPORTED SKILLSUSA CARPENTRY PROGRAMS IN NINE HIGH SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, PROVIDING CASH GRANTS TO CLASSROOMS FOR MATERIALS AND TOOLS, AS WELL AS CAREER ESSENTIAL AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.


RESILIENT COMMUNITIES- THE SWINERTON FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP WITH REBUILDING TOGETHER BEGAN 20 YEARS AGO IN OAKLAND AND PORTLAND. TODAY, WE SPONSOR TEN BUILD DAYS, PROVIDING NECESSARY MONETARY SUPPORT AND VOLUNTEERS.
