THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING INSTITUTE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION EXISTS TO TAKE THE GOSPEL TO THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING WORLD BY ENCOURAGING TRAINING OF MINISTERS WITH THE DEAF, HELPING TO ESTABLISH DEAF CHURCHES AND DEAF MINISTRIES, DEVELOPING INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF, TEACHING SIGN LANGUAGE, AND INFORMING ABOUT THE NEEDS AND ABILITIES OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING. WE ALSO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO FAMILIES THROUGH OUR GIFTS OF HOPE PROGRAM AND SHARED READING PROGRAM.
