VAMOS PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL,NUTRITIONAL AND MEDICAL SERVICES TO APPROX. 1,000 CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN TEN POOR COMMUNITIES IN AND AROUND CUERNAVACA,MEXICO. EDUCATION IS PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN FROM PRE-SCHOOL THROUGH 8TH GRADE. MUSIC AND COMPUTER LESSONS ARE ALSO PROVIDED ALONG WITH MEALS, HEALTH CARE, DENTAL SERVICES AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE. OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, MORE THAN 14,000 MEALS ARE SERVED AND MORE THAN 3,500 HOURS OF ACADEMIC INSTRUCTION ARE PROVIDED. MEDICAL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO MORE THAN 1,500 PATIENTS AND DENTAL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO MORE THAN 800 PEOPLE, FREE OF CHARGE.
