THE VERMONT COALITION OF RUNAWAY AND HOMELESS YOUTH PROGRAMS MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT YOUTH HAVE ACCESS TO THE SUPPORT SERVICES THEY NEED TO BE SAFE AND STABLE. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, THE COALITION WORKS TO: ENSURE CONTINUED FUNDING FOR CRUCIAL YOUTH SERVICES IN AN UNCERTAIN ECONOMIC CLIMATE COLLABORATE WITH STATE AND LOCAL PARTNERS TO ALIGN AND INFORM SERVICES ADVOCATE FOR YOUTH NEEDS WITH STATE AND FEDERAL POLICY MAKERS FOSTER A LEARNING COMMUNITY AMONG MEMBER AGENCIES TO DEVELOP AND DISSEMINATE BEST PRACTICES FOR YOUTH-CARE WORK EDUCATE OUR COMMUNITIES ABOUT THE ISSUES AT-RISK YOUTH FACE CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH VOICES TO BE HEARD
