COMMUNITY HOUSE CURRENTLY OFFERS A SHORT-TERM RESIDENTIAL ASSESSMENT PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN 6-12 YEARS OF AGE, AN INDEPENDENT AND SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL FOR GRADES K-8 AND A SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-13.

PROVIDED SHORT-TERM SERVICES FOR 13 CHILDREN WITH SIGNIFICANT SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL NEEDS WHO WERE REFERRED BY THE STATE OF VERMONT FOR STABILIZATION AND ASSESSMENT PURPOSES. THESE CHILDREN ARE SOME OF THE MOST NEEDY CHILDREN IN VERMONT. IN ADDITION, COMMUNITY HOUSE, INC. PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL DAY SCHOOL TO 26 CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, ALL REFERRED BY LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
