TO PROVIDE CHILDREN AND PARENTS ORGANIZED FRAMEWORK FOR THE ACTIVITIES SURROUNDING THE SPORT OF AMATEUR FIGURE SKATING.

Part 3
SALT LAKE FIGURE SKATING HOLDS SKATING AND OTHER EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE SPORT OF AMATEUR FIGURE SKATING. THESE EVENTS ALSO PROVIDE AN ECONOMIC BENEFIT TO THE STATE OF UTAH FROM OUT-OF-STATE VISITORS UTILIZING LOCAL HOTELS, RESTAURANTS AND OTHER LOCAL BUSINESSES.
THE CLUB OPERATES A LOW COST, FIGURE SKATING GROUP LESSON PROGRAM FOR BEGINNER LEVEL SKATERS.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: THE CLUB PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR SKATERS MOVING ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF COMPETITION IN THE US FIGURE SKATING REGIONAL, SECTIONAL, NATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND TEAM USA. 18 MEMBERS BENEFITED.
CLUB ICE: THE CLUBS PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 36 HOURS OF CLUB ICE SESSIONS FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS TO USE AT NO COST FOR PRACTICE, TRAINING, AND INSTRUCTION. APPROXIMATELY 65 CLUB MEMBERS BENEFITED.
