PENNENVIRONMENT IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING OUR AIR, WATER AND OPEN SPACES. WE INVESTIGATE PROBLEMS, CRAFT SOLUTIONS, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND DECISION-MAKERS AND HELP THE PUBLIC MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD IN LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL DEBATES OVER THE QUALITY OF OUR ENVIRONMENT.

PUBLIC EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS, DISTRIBUTING EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE, CONDUCTING SURVEYS AND DISCUSSING ISSUES WITH THE PUBLIC REACHING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS EACH YEAR ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: WORKING TO BAN SINGLE-USE PLASTICS, PROMOTING RENEWABLE ENERGY STRATEGIES, CLEANING UP OUR WATERWAYS AND BANNING TOXIC PESTICIDES USED IN FOOD PRODUCTION.
