IN 2021, OHNY PRODUCED THE 19TH ANNUAL OHNY WEEKEND FESTIVAL ON OCTOBER 16-17, OFFERING NEARLY 150 WAYS (IN-PERSON AND ONLINE) TO EXPLORE PLACES THAT DEFINE THE PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE OF NEW YORK CITY. OHNY PARTNERED WITH 137 ORGANIZATIONS DURING OHNY WEEKEND TO BRING NEARLY 10,000 PARTICIPANTS OUT FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS, WHILE A LINEUP OF MORE THAN 50 VIRTUAL EVENTS REACHED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WELL BEYOND THE FIVE BOROUGHS AND ACROSS THE WORLD. OHNY ALSO LAUNCHED THE RADICAL KNOWLEDGE: LIBRARIES AS COMMUNITY CATALYSTS PROGRAM, AS PART OF ITS RECURRING URBAN SYSTEMS SERIES, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY, BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND QUEENS PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEMS. MORE THAN 10 PROGRAMS, BOTH IN-PERSON AND ONLINE, EXPLORED HOW LIBRARIES SERVE AS BOTH VIBRANT LEARNING INSTITUTIONS AND CENTERS FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES.
