1.THE SCHOOL OPERATES OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME LIFE-LONG LEADERS FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE. PROGRAMMING & EVENTS, WHICH AVERAGES BETWEEN 900 TO 1,000 PARTICIPANTS ANNYALLY, SUPPORTS YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME INNOVATORS AND LEADERS IN THE BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT AND NON-PROFIT SECTORS. 2.THE SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM ("SLP") IS THE FLAGSHIP PROGRAM OF THE SCHOOL AND THE ONE IN WHICH MOST YOUNG PEOPLE FIRST COME TO THE SCHOOL. IT BRINGS TOGETHER A DIVERSE GROUP OF 80 TO 100 HIGH SCHOOL- AGE YOUTHS FOR COMMUNITY AND CLASSROOM LEARNING OVER SIX AND ONE-HALF WEEKS. (SEE SCHEDULE O.)
