LICENSING THE TRUST LICENSES MERCE CUNNINGHAM CHOREOGRAPHY TO PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT HIS WORK CONTINUES TO BE SEEN BY THE PUBLIC AND LEARNED BY DANCERS AS PART OF THEIR TRAINING.
CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS CLASSES IN CUNNINGHAM TECHNIQUE ARE OFFERED DAILY AND ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, ALLOWING PROFESSIONAL AND OTHER DANCERS TO CONTINUE THEIR TRAINING IN THIS TECHNIQUE. THE TRUST OFFERS WORKSHOPS TO PROFESSIONAL AND ASPIRING DANCERS THAT ALLOW THEM TO EXPERIENCE THE CUNNINGHAM REPERTORY WITHOUT HAVING TO DANCE FOR A COMPANY. THESE WORKSHOPS ALSO COMPRISE CHOREOGRAPHIC RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES FOR CUNNINGHAM STAGERS AND FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE AND UNDERSTAND CUNNINGHAM'S PROCESS AND WORK.
