THE LIBRARY IS A COMMUNITY INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTER THAT LENDS BOOKS, E-BOOKS, AUDIOBOOKS, AND OTHER MEDIA TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE LIBRARY ALSO PROVIDES RESOURCES AND ACTIVITIES FOR A CHILDREN'S CENTER, A TEEN SPACE, SMALL BUSINESS SERVICES, REFERENCE AND RESEARCH SERVICES, AND AS A SPACE FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS, LECTURES, BOOK CLUBS, SEMINARS, AND OTHER PROGRAMS IN ALIGNMENT WITH ITS MISSION. THE MAJOR SOURCES OF REVENUE ARE THROUGH APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE CITY OF AUBURN, INCOME FROM ENDOWMENTS, GRANTS, AND INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE DONATIONS.
