DURING THE FOURTH QUARTER, THE 'CODE (RED)' CAMPAIGN BROUGHT TOGETHER A COALITION OF FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPANIES, INCLUDING BANK OF AMERICA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CITI AND PAYPAL, ALL JOINING FORCES TO FIGHT PANDEMICS WITH (RED) BY ENABLING CONSUMERS TO EASILY DONATE UNUSED REWARDS POINTS, BECOMING CASH TO FIGHT PANDEMICS. ADDITIONALLY, IN SUPPORT OF WORLD AIDS DAY, (RED) BROUGHT TOGETHER LEADING CREATORS FOR ITS FIRST-EVER VIRTUAL GAMING TOURNAMENT, 'THE (RED) CREATOR CUP', WHILE LONG-TERM PARTNER, APPLE, CELEBRATED 15 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP AND NEARLY $270 MILLION GENERATED FOR THE GLOBAL FUND.
NORTH AMERICA: THE NORTH AMERICA ADVOCACY TEAMS HAVE KEPT LASER FOCUSED ON ONE'S LONG-TERM MISSION WHILE CONTINUING TO RESPOND TO THE FAR-REACHING IMPACTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN CANADA, ONE ENCOURAGED THE GOVERNMENT TO INCREASE ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR TESTS, TREATMENTS, AND VACCINES FOR LOW- AND LOWER-MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES, TO SHARE MORE OF ITS EXCESS DOSES, AND TO RECYCLE A PORTION OF ITS SPECIAL DRAWING RIGHTS (SDRS) TO HELP COUNTRIES FACE THE ECONOMIC AFTERSHOCKS OF THE PANDEMIC. IN THE UNITED STATES, 188 ACTIVISTS JOINED OUR FIRST VIRTUAL ONE POWER SUMMIT, WHERE THEY WERE TRAINED ON LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND ISSUES PERTAINING TO OUR MISSION. AHEAD OF KEY PLEDGING MOMENTS, WE RAISED AWARENESS AMONG THE PUBLIC, MEDIA AND POLICY MAKERS IN DIFFERENT EUROPEAN COUNTRIES ABOUT GOVERNMENTS COMMITMENTS ON VACCINES, SDRS, DEBT RELIEF, AND EDUCATION.
