TEXAS OILMAN'S CHARITY INVITATIONAL FISHING TOURNAMENT(TOCIFT) RAISES FUNDS THROUGH PLANNING, PROMOTION AND MANAGEMENT OF AN ANNUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT. PROCEEDS FROM THIS SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING EVENT ARE USED TO MAKE GRANTS TO VARIOUS CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SOUTH TEXAS ARE. DURING 2020 THE ANNUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE HELD DUE TO COVID 19. THE ORGANIZATION USED UNRESTRICTED FUNDS FROM IT'S RETAINED EARNINGS TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT TO HOUSING FACILITIES FOR MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS, FUNDED RESEARCH. SUPPORTED SCHOLARSHIP ACTIVITES AND FURTHERED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOUTH TEXAS AREA.
