Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

WE ARE VERY PLEASED THAT WE NOW HAVE A FIRM COMMITMENT FROM OUR RESTORATION CONTRACTOR TO REPAIR AND RESTORE THE MEETING HOUSE CLOCK TOWER AND BELFRY DURING THE SUMMER AND FALL OF 2024. THIS IMPORTANT PROJECT WILL BE THE CAPSTONE OF DECADES OF PRIOR WORK TO SAVE AND RESTORE THE UNION MEETING HOUSE. DURING 2022, THE GENEROSITY OF MANY DONORS AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS ADDED MORE THAN 120,000 TO OUR RESTORATION FUND. THANKS TO MANY VOLUNTEER WORKERS, MAJOR PROGRESS WAS MADE TO REPAIR AND UPGRADE THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM OF THE VESTRY BUILDING. WHEN COMPLETED IN 2023, THE VESTRY WILL BE AVAILABLE AS AN ADJUNCT TO THE MEETING HOUSE AND WILL PROVIDE SPACE FOR PUBLIC USE IN THE VILLAGE AREA OF READFIELD. A SERIES OF 14 EVENTS WERE HELD THROUGH THE SUMMER AND FALL OF 2022 TO ATTRACT VISITORS TO THE MEETING HOUSE.
