ORGANIZATION'S MISSION OR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES TO OFFER SUPPORT TO PEOPLE IN SAGADAHOC, LINCOLN, KNOX AND WALDO COUNTIES AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DATING VIOLENCE, AND STALKING, AND TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO ASSIST OUR COMMUNITIES IN CREATING A SAFER AND HEALTHIER FUTURE.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS - PROVIDES EDUCATION AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS TO SCHOOLS AND OTHER COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS WHICH HAVE CONTACT WITH PEOPLE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC AND DATING VIOLENCE.


INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM - PROVIDES INTERVENTION COUNSELING THROUGH A 24 HOUR HOTLINE, OFFICE VISITS, COURT ADVOCACY, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES.


TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM - PROVIDES LONG-TERM HOUSING AND PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS AS A RESULT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.


SUPPORT GROUPS - PROVIDES SUPPORT AND EDUCATION GROUPS FOR WOMEN AND STUDENTS. EMERGENCY SHELTER - PROVIDES TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC AND DATING VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN. CERTIFIED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INTERVENTION PROGRAM - PROVIDES A CERTIFIED EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN WHO USE VIOLENCE.
