CREATE, PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE A TOURIST GUIDEBOOK THAT HIGHLIGHTS A MEMBER DIRECTORY, BAR HARBOR ATTRACTIONS AND ACADIA NATIONAL PARK. EACH YEAR THE CHAMBER PRODUCES 225,000 GUIDEBOOKS THAT ARE DISTRIBUTED AROUND TEH REGION AND THE WORLD.
CREATE ADVERTISING AND MEMBER ADVERTISING OPPUTUNITIES THAT PROMOTE THE AREA AS A VACATION ATTRACTION AND DESTINATION. THE CHAMBER ALSO MAINTAINS THE AREAS PREMIER AND MOST CREDIBLE WEBSITE, BARHARBORINFO.COM AS A MARKETING AND PROMOTIONAL TOOL.
THE CHAMBER OPERATES THE ACADIA WELCOME CENTER SEASONALLY AND OPERATES AN INFORMATION OFFICE ON THE CORNER OF MAIN STREET IN BAR HARBOR, MAINE YEAR ROUND. WELCOME CENTER SELLS PARK PASSES IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING INFORMATION.
