THE SOCIETY IMPOUNDS STRAY ANIMALS CAPTURED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AND ALSO ACCEPTS STRAY ANIMALS FROM PRIVATE CITIZENS. THE SOCIETY RE-HOMES HEALTHY ADOPTABLE ANIMALS, AS WELL AS REUNITES STRAY ANIMALS WITH THEIR OWNERS. THE SOCIETY ALSO PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY COMPLAINTS AND INVESTIGATIONS, AND STANDS BY TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE IN TIMES OF NATURAL DISASTER OR LOCAL EMERGENCY.THE SOCIETY ASSISTS PEOPLE, AS WELL AS ANIMALS WITH PROGRAMS SUCH AS MONTHLY LOW-COST VACCINATION CLINICS, LOW-COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINICS AND EMERGENCY STIPEND PROGRAM FOR URGENT VETERINARY CARE. OTHER COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMS INCLUDE A PET FOOD PANTRY AND EMERGENCY PET BOARDING FOR PET OWNERS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE, AS WELL AS A VARIETY OF HUMANE EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH.
