THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES ARE TO SOLICIT, COLLECT, AND OTHERWISE RAISE MONEY, TO EXPEND, DISBURSE, AND DISPOSE OF THE SAME, AND TO DO ANY AND ALL THINGS NECESSARY OR INCIDENTAL FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCOMPLISHING THE PURPOSES AND MISSION OF SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION, INC.

MISSION:

SKYTRUTH'S MISSION IS TO MOTIVATE AND EMPOWER NEW CONSTITUENCIES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. WE USE SCIENTIFICALLY CREDIBLE SATELLITE IMAGES AND OTHER VISUAL TECHNOLOGIES TO CREATE COMPELLING PICTURES THAT VIVIDLY ILLUSTRATE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS AND PROVIDE THESE IMAGES AND SUPPORTING DATA TO ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES, THE MEDIA, DECISIONMAKERS, AND THE PUBLIC.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF A COMMUNITY CEMETERY THAT WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1869. TO OVERSEE THE SALE OF LOTS, THE PREPARATION OF GRAVESITES FOR BURIALS AND THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CEMETERY GROUNDS AND BUILDINGS.

THE ORGANIZATON'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE THE WAR MEMORIAL BUILDING AND MORGAN'S GROVE PARK IN SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV FOR PUBLIC USE AND COMMUNITY EVENTS.

Also included are organizations that encourage new, foreign and independent filmmakers through the organization and presentation of film expositions and festivals or which show old or difficult to obtain films in noncommercial facilities.
