THE DOOR COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY STRIVES TO COLLECT, MAINTAIN AND SHARE THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF DOOR COUNTY THROUGH PRESERVATION, EDUCATION AND PROGRAMMING.

STRIVES TO MAKE LIFE A LITTLE EASIER FOR THOSE FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER. WE HOPE TO ALLEVIATE SOME OF THE SUFFERING THROUGH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FINDING IT A SERIOUS DRAIN, NOT ONLY IN THE AREAS OF MEDICAL CARE, BUT IN OTHER AREAS OF THEIR LIVES.

DOR-TRAN, INC. DBA DOOR-TRAN (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO CONNECT PEOPLE TO TRANSPORTATION SERVICES THAT ARE AFFORDABLE, AVAILABLE AND ACCESSIBLE. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES VIA PHONE, WEBSITE, AND PUBLICATION OF A TRANSPORTATION RESOURCE GUIDE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ONGOING COORDINATION ACTIVITIES AMONGST GOVERNMENT, NON-PROFIT, AND FOR-PROFIT PROVIDERS TO IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN SERVICES THROUGHOUT DOOR COUNTY. IN 2014, THE ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED A 0% INTEREST CAR REPAIR AND PURCHASE LOAN PROGRAM. THE GOAL OF THE LOAN PROGRAM IS TO ASSIST DOOR COUNTY RESIDENTS TO GAIN OR MAINTAIN EMPLOYMENT BY REDUCING THE TRANSPORTATION BARRIER FOR INDIVIDUALS.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE SAIL TRAINING FOUNDATION IS: 1. TO TRAIN PERSONS IN ALL ASPECTS OF BOATING AND WATER SAFETY; 2. TO HOLD TITLE TO AND MAINTAIN WATERCRAFT AND RELATED EQUIPMENT; 3. TO ENGAGE IN OTHER LAWFUL ACTIVITY WHATSOEVER, DIRECTLY CONCERNED WITH THE FOREGOING, OR WHICH IS CALCULATED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO PROMOTE THE INTEREST OF PERSONS IN WATERCRAFT AND WATER SAFETY.
