FAUQUIER HOSPITAL AUXILIARY'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT VOLUNTEER SERVICES AT FAUQIER HEALTH, TO SERVE THE HEALTH RELATED NEED OF THE COMMUNUITY AND TO RAISE FUNDS IN PURSUIT OF THESE ACTIVITIES.

MISSION:

THE VHSA IS AN ASSOCIATION OF SHOW AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS COOPERATING TO PROMOTE THE SPORT AND TO IMPROVE THE BREEDING OF HORSES IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA.

TO ADVANCE AGRICULTURE AND AGRICULTURE-RELATED EDUCATION THROUGH BEST-METHOD DEMONSTRATIONS, CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION, ON-FARM WORKSHOPS, AND HANDS-ON LEARNING. THE FARM SUPPORTS THE COMMUNITY BY CONTRIBUTING ALL OF ITS AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS AND BY PROVIDING RICHLY REWARDING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.

THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO CREATE, ENRICH AND EXPAND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAUQUIER COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. THEY FIND EQUITABLE PROGRAMS THAT ENHANCE STUDENT LEARNING EXPERIENCES AND CITZENSHIP. THEY CREATE AND FUND PROGRAMS THAT PREPARE AND ENGAGE STUDENTS WITH DIVERSE POPULATIONS, CULTURES AND TECHNOLOGIES. THEY PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS ENABLING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS TO FURTHER THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND IMPACT THEIR CLASSROOMS. THEY ARE DEDICATED TO CREATING INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS AND CULTIVATING PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL AND REGIONAL CORPORATIONS, FOUNDATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL DONORS TO BETTER SERVE OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

PROVIDED SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE TO THOSE THAT ARE ILL, DYING OR BEREAVED THROUGH ONE ON ONE AND GROUP SESSIONS. APPROXIMATELY 1700 PEOPLE WERE HELPED IN 2022

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE SOCCER AND SPORTS FIELDS, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND UP-KEEP, FOR LOCAL AREA AMATUER, NON-PROFIT SPORTS CLUBS.

Includes organizations that partner parents, families, schools, business and/or community leaders to broker resources for the benefit of local schools.

LESS CANCER'S MISSION IS TO MAKE RISK REDUCTION AND PREVENTION A VITAL PART OF THE CANCER PARADIGM. LESS CANCER WAS FOUNDED TO HELP REMEDIATE THE ALARMING TREND OF INCREASED INCIDENCES OF CANCER.

LITERACY VOLUNTEERS OF FAUQUIER COUNTY (LVFC) EXISTS TO IMPROVE THE READING, WRITING, BASIC COMMUNICATION, STUDY AND COMPUTER SKILLS OF ADULTS IN FAUQUIER COUNTY, VA, AND TO PROMOTE LEARNING AS A FUNDAMENTAL GOAL SHARED BY ALL FAMILY MEMBERS.
