WE ENGAGE, EDUCATE AND INSPIRE GENERATIONS OF DONORS TO CREATE ONGOING RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS. OUR DONORS MAY CHOOSE LEGACIES OF TZEDAKAH AND TIKKUN OLAM. WE EFFECTIVELY STEWARD PHILANTHROPIC ASSETS ENTRUSTED TO OUR CARE.

THE SIGMA PHI EPSILON EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION ADVANCES THE MISSION OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS THAT SUPPORT HEALTHY LIVING ENVIRONMENTS AND PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON THE ACADEMIC AND MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF UNDERGRADUATE MEN.

TO USE THE POWER OF MEDIA TO EDUCATE, ENTERTAIN AND INSPIRE, USING PUBLIC TELEVISION AND PUBLIC RADIO TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT CENTRAL VIRGINIA, CHARLOTTESVILLE, THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY, THE NORTHERN NECK AND MECKLENBURG COUNTY REGIONS.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

ALTHOUGH ACCORDED A NATIONAL SCOPE BY ITS CHARTER, THE ENDOWMENT CURRENTLY LIMITS AWARDS TO ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS AND PROJECTS CONDUCTED PRIMARILY IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA AND ALSO IN THE KANAWHA AND OHIO RIVER VALLEYS OF KENTUCKY AND WEST VIRGINIA.

THE MISSION OF BETH SHOLOM LIFECARE COMMUNITY IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY AND COMPREHENSIVE RESIDENTIAL, HEALTHCARE AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS OF ALL FAITHS, IN A MANNER THAT REFLECTS OUR JEWISH TRADITIONS AND VALUES.

THE SCIENCE MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA FOUNDATION (SMVF), INC. SUPPORTS THE SCIENCE MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA (SMV), A PREMIER CENTER FOR HANDS-ON SCIENCE EDUCATION IN VIRGINIA. PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS INCLUDE INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS ON A WIDE RANGE OF SCIENCE TOPICS. ADDITIONAL MUSEUM PROGRAMS INCLUDE VISITING EXHIBITIONS, DIGITAL DOME PLANETARIUM AND MOVIE EVENTS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, OVERNIGHT ADVENTURES, LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS, LIVE THEATER AND SUMMER CAMPS.
