THE ALLEGHENY LEAGUE OF MUNICIPALITIES (LEAGUE) WAS CREATED TO PROMOTE INTERGOVERNMENTAL CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ALLEGHENY AND ITS 130 MUNICIPALITIES BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL SERVICES. THE LEAGUE PROVIDES A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT THESE MUNICIPALITIES AND ALLOWS THEM TO OPERATE IN A MORE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE MANNER. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PAIR A QUALIFIED MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR, GENERALLY IN A PART-TIME OR CASUAL CAPACITY TO ASSIST THE MUNICIPALITY WITH JOB SEARCHES, TALENT ACQUISITION, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYSIS TO FOSTER BEST PRACTICES IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION.
