WE PROVIDE PEER SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH AND/OR RECOVERING FROM MENTAL WELLNESS CHALLENGES, ADDICTION, TRAUMA, HOUSELESSNESS AND OTHER SHARED LIVED EXPERIENCES.

UID ENDEAVORS TO EMPOWER THE POOR BY OFFERING TRAINING IN SKILLS AND VOCATIONS THAT WOULD HELP TRANSFORM THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE FOCUS IS LIVING IN THE SAME NEIGHBORHOODS WHERE WE WORK, AT A LOWER ECONOMIC LEVEL, SO AS TO BEST UNDERSTAND THE COMMUNITIES WE ARE WORKING WITH.

The goal of this organization are the learned societies, professional councils, and other organizations that bring together individuals or organizations with a common professional or vocational interest within the Public Safety, Disaster Preparedness, and Relief major group area.
