THE BUFFALO YACHT CLUB IS A SOCIAL CLUB. THE CLUB PROVIDES MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR GUESTS WITH FACILTIES WHICH ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP YACHTING AND OTHER AQUATIC SPORTS, AS WELL AS OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE BUFFALO YACHT CLUB IS THE ONLY TWELVE-MONTH, PRIVATE YACHT CLUB THAT ENJOYS TWO LOCATIONS IN TWO COUNTRIES AND IS SAID TO BE THE 3RD OLDEST YACHT CLUB IN AMERICA, BEING FORMED IN 1860.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is the consultation, training, and other forms of management assistance services to nonprofit groups within the Science and Technology Research Institutes, Services major group area.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

The goal of this organization are the separately incorporated, local Salvation Army sites.

TO ENABLE ALL PERSONS WITH PSYCHIATRIC DISABILITIES TO INCREASE THEIR FUNCTIONING SO THEY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL AND SATISFIED IN THE ENVIRONMENTS OF THEIR CHOICE WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE REQUIRED.

The goal of this organization is to develop, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing that is available to people who qualify on the basis of income, age or disability for publicly subsidized housing e.g., HUD housing or housing assistance under Section 8 of the Housing and Urban Development Act.

MT. OLIVE DEVELOPMENT CORP.'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNITY'S PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, YOUTH PROGRAMS, AND COMMUNITY ACCESS.

MISSION:

OPERATION OF THE FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER AS A SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT TO COORDINATE THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, INSURING THE SAFETY OF VICTIMS, THEIR CHILDREN AND THEIR LONG TERM WELFARE.

GSA REPRESENTS THE GRADUATE STUDENTS AT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK AT BUFFALO, AS THEIR VOICE TO THE UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION, FACULTY AND STAFF AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY IN GENERAL.GSA SERVES THE GRADUATE STUDENTS BY SPONSORING CLUBS AND OFFERING ACTIVITIES, SERVICES AND EVENTS THAT FACILITATE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM.GSA ENGAGES THE GRADUATE STUDENTS BY SPONSORING CLUBS AND OFFERING ACTIVITIES, SERVICES AND EVENTS OF A RECREATIONAL, ENTERTAINING OR SOCIAL NATURE.

HARVEST HOUSE'S MISSION IS TO BREAK THE BARRIERS OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING HOLISTIC SUPPORT SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED AND MARGINALIZED COMMUNITY MEMBERS. FACILITATING WELLNESS, ACCESS TO BASIC HUMAN NEEDS, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ADULTS, AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH IN OUR COMMUNITY.

IDENTIFY, PRESERVE, AND MANAGE LANDS HAVING SIGNIFICANT NATURAL VALUES AND THE FLORA, FAUNA, AND NATURAL FEATURES THEREOF; TO EDUCATE AND INFORM THE PUBLIC ABOUT BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY THROUGH SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, LAND PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS.
