CASTING FOR HOPE'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO ATTEND TO THE FINANCIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF WOMEN LIVING WITH AND SURVIVING THROUGH AN OVARIAN OR GYNECOLOGICAL CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT, FILL SERVICE GAPS FOR THESE WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND NURTURE WOMEN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS DURING THE CANCER JOURNEY BY PRESENTING A NETWORK OF RELATED RESOURCES. CASTING FOR HOPE DIRECTORS LISTEN TO CONCERNS, OFFER A DEGREE OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, HOLD RETREATS FOR A TIME OF RESPITE, AND DISTRIBUTE OVARIAN AND GYNECOLOGICAL CANCER EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE. THROUGH ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, FEMALE CANCER SURVIVORS RECEIVE LIMITED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, RETREAT OPPORTUNITIES, REFERRALS TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, AND RESOURCE LISTS. FUNDS TO SUSTAIN THESE PROGRAMS ARE RAISED THROUGH FLY-FISING TOURNAMENTS AND SPONSORSHIPS, 5K WALKS AND RUNS, CONCERTS AND DINNERS, VARIOUS COMMUNITY EVENTS, PRIVATE DONATIONS AND COMMUNITY GRANTS.

ITS GOALS ARE TO:COMPLEMENT THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS ANDSTUDENTS TO LEARN, SOCIALIZE, COMMUNICATE AND GROW.RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SCHOLASTIC PROGRAMS THAT FUITHERENRICH THE CHILDREN'S EXPERIENCE.BRING CLOSER RELATION TO THE HOME, THE SCHOOL AND THE COMMUNITY, SO THATPARENTS AND TEACHERS MAY WORK COOPERATIVELY IN THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN.
