THE FOUNDATION WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF SAINT JOSEPH, ITS FACULTY & STUDENTS AND TO PROMOTE, SPONSOR, AND CARRY OUT EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, TECHNOLOGICAL, AND RELATED ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES.

The goal of this organization is to provide supportive services for individuals and families who are homeless or which work with people who are at risk for homelessness in an effort to prevent them from losing their permanent residence.

Organizations making reference to Lubavitch, Chabad, Yeshiva, and Torah should also be classified here, but not necessarily those mentioning Israel, Hebrew, and Shalom.

These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.
