THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO BUILD BETTER FUTURES FOR THE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES BY HELPING THEM REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL AND ENABLING THEM TO LIVE MORE PRODUCTIVE AND INDEPENDENT LIVES.

MISSION:

THE DIMOCK SUPPORT CORPORATION WAS CREATED FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE DR. LUCY SEWALL CENTER FOR ACUTE TREATMENT SERVICES (THE "SEWALL CENTER").

MISSION:

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BY IMPROVING THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF UNDER-SERVED PERSONS AND DISTRESSED COMMUNITIES AND TO DEVELOP AND FOSTER SELF-SUFFICIENCY AMONG SUCH PERSONS AND COMMUNITIES. TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING AND DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SERVICES, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE INCLUDING LOANS AND GRANTS FOR HOUSING, PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, HUMAN SERVICES AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING SEWER AND WATER PROJECTS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

MISSION:

SCRATCH FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT DEVELOPS AND SUPPORTS THE SCRATCH PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND ONLINE COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DIGITAL TOOLS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO IMAGINE, CREATE, SHARE, AND LEARN. AS CHILDREN CREATE AND SHARE STORIES, GAMES, AND ANIMATIONS WITH SCRATCH, THEY LEARN TO THINK CREATIVELY, REASON SYSTEMATICALLY, AND WORK COLLABORATIVELY, WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR EVERYONE IN TODAY'S SOCIETY. SCRATCH WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED AT THE MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MEDIA LAB, AND MOVED TO THE SCRATCH FOUNDATION IN 2019.
