THE RED RIVER VALLY ASSOCIATION, INC. GENERATES NATIONAL AWARENESS OF MILITARY SERVICE AND SACRIFICE AND PROVIDES COMFORT AND SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF THOSE UNIFORMED SERIVCE AIRCREW PERSONNEL MIA/KIA/KOW WHO WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THE WAR IN SOUTHEAST ASIA TO THE PRESENT FOR BOTH COMBAT LOSSES AND OPERATIONAL ACCIDENTS. A PROUD FRATERNITY OF WARRIORS, THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO OUR NATION AND TO COMRADES IN ARMS, PARTICULARY THE FAMILIES OF OUR MEMBERS WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE FOR FREEDOM. THEY ALSO REMAIN STEAD-FASTLY DEDICATED TO FUTURE GENERATIONS OF AMERICANS WHO MAY AGAIN BE CALLED TO SERVE THE NATION IN TIME OF WAR. WEST FLORIDA AHEC NOT ONLY STRIVES TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF THOSE IN OUR METROPOLITAN AREAS AND THE HEALTH OF THOSE IN OUR COUNTRIES' RURAL AREAS, THEY ARE ALSO CONCERNED WITH THE MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AREAS AND HEALTH PROFESSIONAL SHORTAGE AREAS. THEREFORE WEST FLORIDA AHEC, ALONGSIDE ITS STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY AND GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS IS ON A MISSION TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND WELLNESS IN ITS 4-COUNTY SERVICE AREA.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

WE PROVIDE SAFE AND LOVING TEMPORARY HOMES FOR THE ANIMALS WE SAVE, WHILE WE WORK HARD TO FIND THEM THEIR FOREVER HOMES THROUGH ADOPTION.
