THROUGH ITS EXHIBITS, PROGRAMS, AND COLLECTIONS, THE MUSEUM PRESERVES AND INTERPRETS THE HISTORY OF TEXTILES, THE TEXTILE ARTS, AND THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON THE EXPERIENCES OF CRAFTSPEOPLE, INDUSTRIAL WORKERS, MANUFACTURERS, INVENTORS, DESIGNERS, AND CONSUMERS.
