MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES THAT GO ON AT VALLEY LIFE CHARTER SCHOOL, AND TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SOME OF THE EXPENSES INCURRED IN SPECIAL PROGRAMS, FUNDRAISERS, AND ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HELPS THE SCHOOL BY APPLYING FOR GRANTS THAT CAN OFFSET THE COSTS OF SPECIAL EVENTS.

THE ORGANIZATION PROCESSED AND DISTRIBUTED IN EXCESS OF 875,000 POUNDS OF FOOD TO ITS MEMBERS AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY OF VISALIA. CURRENTLY VISALIA GLEANING SENIORS, INC. SERVES NEARLY 364 HOUSEHOLDS IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY COMPOSED OF APPROXIMATELY 366 SENIORS.

STEPPING STONES PRESCHOOL PROVIDES A PART-TIME ENRICHMENT PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN.

EACH WEEK OUR WORKPLACE CHAPLAINS PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE LISTENING, SPIRITUAL CARE, MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT, AND COUNSELING TO SUPPORT PEOPLE IN THE PRACTICAL NEEDS OF THEIR LIFE AND FAMILY. WE ALSO RESPOND TO TRAUMATIC EVENTS THAT AFFECT COMPANIES AND GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS WITH CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT (CISM) FACILITATION AND GRIEF COUNSELING SERVICES.
