The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.

THE MISSION OF MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY SERVICES IS TO PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE LEGAL RIGHTS OF LOW-INCOME ADULTS AND CHILDREN WITH MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITIES AND EMPOWER THEM TO ASSERT THOSE RIGHTS IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE THEIR AUTONOMY, ACHIEVE EQUITY, AND SECURE THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO THRIVE.

JAPANESE COMMUNITY PIONEER CENTER PROVIDES SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS, EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, AND CULTURAL CLASSES IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES'S LITTLE TOKYO AREA.

TO DO THIS, OP IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING SCHOLARS BEGINNING IN 3RD GRADE THROUGH COLLEGE GRADUATION WITH OUR COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM CALLED THE 5 PILLARS OF SUCCESS (ACADEMICS, LIFE SKILLS, HEALTH & WELLNESS, SERVICE, AND SAFETY & SUPPORT). WE OFFER INDIVIDUAL ACADEMIC CASE MANAGEMENT, LAPD MENTORSHIP, AFTER SCHOOL EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAMS, EXECUTIVE FUNCTION SKILL DEVELOPMENT, SOCIOEMOTIONAL SUPPORT, SUMMER PROGRAMS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO PARTICIPATING SCHOLARS.
