MIRACLE MILE SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING CORPORATION, A CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT CORPORATION, WAS FORMED TO OWN A 28-UNIT RENTAL HOUSING PROJECT FOR THE ELDERLY LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. THE OPERATIONS OF THE PROJECT BEGAN DECEMBER 1, 1994. THE CORPORATION IS OPERATED UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1959. THE CORPORATION HAS EXECUTED A REGULATORY AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, WHICH GOVERNS THE OPERATION OF THE PROECT WITH RESPECT TO RENTAL CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS.

THE LOS ANGELES REVIEW OF BOOKS IS A NON PROFIT MULTIMEDIA LITERARY, EDUCATIONAL, INTELLECTUAL, AND CULTURAL ARTS PROJECT THAT COMBINES SERIOUS BOOK REVIEWS AND ESSAYS WITH THE EVOLVING TECHNOLOGIES OF THE INTERNET, PROMOTING AND DISSEMINATING THE BEST THAT IS THOUGHT AND WRITTEN WITH AN ENDURING COMMITMENT TO THE INTELLECTUAL RIGOR, THE INCISIVENESS, AND THE POWER OF THE WRITTEN WORD. THE LOS ANGELES REVIEW OF BOOKS' MISSION IS TO PROMOTE WRITING, READING, CRITICISM AND INTELLECTUAL DISCUSSION, TEACHING AND LEARNING.
