PROVIDE SUPPORT & EDUCATION SERVICES TO INDIVIUALS WITH DISABILITIES. INCLUDES HOUSING, HOME LIVING, BUDGETING, SELF-CARE, SELF-DIRECTION, COMMUNITY ACCESS AND PARTICIPATION, EMPLOYMENT, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL SKILLS, WHILE MAINTAINING HEALTH AND SAFETY.

RELIGIOUS CULTURE CONGREGATION TO IMPROVE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL VALUES.

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION (HOOVER) IS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE, QUALITY, AND STATE-OF-THE-ART CHILD CARE SERVICES TO LOCAL WORKING PARENTS. HOOVER STRIVES TO PROVIDE A QUALITY EDUCATION BY DEVELOPING THE CHILDREN'S PERCEPTION, THINKING, AND LANGUAGE SKILLS IN A GROUP SETTING AND ALLOWING RECREATIONAL INTERACTION BETWEEN CHILDREN WITH SUPERVISED PLAY ACTIVITIES. FOR THE YEAR ENDED 6/30/19, IT WAS IN OPERATION FOR 246 DAYS AND SERVED ABOUT 80 CHILDREN ON AVERAGE FOR THE PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM. TOTAL CHILD DAY ENROLLMENT FOR THE YEAR WAS 15,561 DAYS.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH THE ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT OF LOW INCOME, SENIOR OR DISABLED HOUSING PROJECTS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SPONSORS THESE TYPES OF PROJECTS.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO NURTURE AWARENESS OF THE LIFE AND TEACHINGS OF THE AVATAR MEHER BABA AND MAKING HIS LIFE AND MESSAGES OF LOVE AND TRUTH AVAILABLE TO ALL. THE AVATAR MEHER BABA CENTER PROVIDES A MEETING PLACE FOR INTERESETED PEOPLE TO GATHER.

TO PROVIDE SCIENTISTS, CLINICIANS AND TRAINEES WITH THE MOST UP-TO-DATE, RELIABLE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ON THE BIOLOGY OF THE PITUITARY GLAND AND THE CAUSES, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PITUITARY GLAND RELATED DISEASES, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE AND TO PROVIDE A UNIQUELY INTERNATIONAL FORUM FOR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGE.

MISSION:

THE ANGELES CHAPTER FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING AND RESTORING THE ENVIRONMENT BY EDUCATING AND SUPPORTING LOCAL EFFORTS, ESPECIALLY IN LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTIES, PRIMARILY THROUGH SUPPORT OF THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE ANGELES CHAPTER OF THE SIERRA CLUB. WE ASSIST IN OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITIES TO INCREASE THEIR UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION, AND PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL WORLD AROUND THEM. AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF THAT IS SUPPORTING PROGRAMS WHICH TAKE CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO NATURAL AREAS, AND TRAINING LEADERS TO SERVE THEM.
