MAKING THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS (MTRC) IS A 5/6 WEEK EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT SUMMER PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES K-8 THAT FOCUSES ON GANG PREVENTION. THE PURPOSE OF MTRC IS TO HELP INNER-CITY KIDS "AT-RISK" FOR GANG ASSOCIATIONS TO CHOOSE FAMILY, CHURCH, SCHOOL & COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS OVER GANG ACTIVITY.

CONDUCT RESEARCH AND DEVELOP POSITIONS ON POLICY ISSUES THAT AFFECT CALIFORNIA'S PUBLIC UNIVERSITY AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEMS.

TO SERVE THE LATINO COMMUNITY WITH PROFESSIONAL BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND SPANISH) PLAYS FOCUSING ON THE PROBLEMS AND SOCIAL ISSUES CONFRONTING THE LATINO COMMUNITY; OFFER WORKSHOPS FOR YOUTH AT RISK AND ADULTS, OFFER NEW ARTISTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT THEIR WORK TO THE PUBLIC.

The goal of this organization is to focus on influencing public policy within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.

The goal of this organization is to monitor and inform the public about the world refugee situation; review refugee-related legislation; and advocate for specific policies relating to the plight of refugees in other countries. Also included are organizations that raise money to enable refugees to leave their own countries and migrate to foreign countries of their choice; or provide aid to refugees who have left their country of origin and are residing in another country outside the United States.

WATER DROP LA IS A 100% VOLUNTEER-RUN COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO COMMUNITIES FACING WATER INACCESSIBILITY. BY DISTRIBUTING 2,000+ GALLONS OF WATER TO SKID ROW EACH WEEK AND BY PROVIDING WATER TO OUR PARTNER ORGANIZATION
