WE INSPIRE CHILDREN TO LEARN AND VALUE OUR NATURAL WORLD THROUGH GARDEN-BASED EDUCATION.

RISE SERVES TO CLOSE THE EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY GAPS THAT EXIST BETWEEN EAST PALO ALTO AND ITS NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES. WE EMPOWER OUR YOUTH TO CREATE THEIR OWN VISION FOR THE FUTURE AND FOSTER THEIR SELF-CONFIDENCE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. IT IS OUR INTENTION THAT STUDENTS LEAVE RISE FEELING PROUD OF THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND EAGER TO INSPIRE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MAKE A LASTING IMPACT ON THEIR COMMUNITY.

The goal of this organization is to provide all forms of support except for financial assistance or fund raising for other organizations within the Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking Foundations major group area.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. The goal of this organization is to conduct research which can be used to improve the options available to physicians who have special training and expertise in one clinical area of practice which focuses on a specific age group, an organ system of the body, or complex scientific techniques developed to diagnose or treat certain types of disorders.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE SCHOOL, THE TEACHERS AND THE STUDENTS IN VARIOUS FORMS SUCH AS FUNDS FOR PROGRAMS, SUPPLIES, TECHNOLOGY AND OTHER MATERIALS. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE SCHOOL AND LOCAL COMMUNITY.

THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA) IS THE NATIONS OLDEST, LARGEST, AND HIGHEST PROFILE VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WORKING ON BEHALF OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS, CHILDREN, AND FAMILIES. THE LOYOLA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA WORKS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS, STAFF AND PARENTS.

CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE OF SERVING INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND BUILDING UP COMMUNITIES.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.
